Grading Policy

As all enamel pins are hand-made, no item will truly be perfect. A-grade items are the best of the batch and closest to true collector's grade merchandise. 

• A-Grade: Minimal flaws. Nothing is immediately visible. A-grade products may have minor errors in delicate detailing, but nothing noticeable at arm's length. The A-grade from SNIGPINS requires a two-person stamp of approval.
• B-Grade: Some flaws. Slight scratches, scuffs and underfill fall into this category. In a stained glass pin, there may be minor bubbling visible in the enamel when held up to the light. A B-Grade pin allows for minor imperfections that may be visible at arm's length. 
• C-Grade: Flawed grade. Any pin with a noticeable scratch, scuff, extreme bubbling, facial defect, slight miscolored enamel or similar flaw will be marked as a C-Grade pin. These flaws will be visible at arm's length. 
• F-Grade: Extremely flawed grade. F-grade pins will have sections of missing enamel, major miscoloring and similar issues. These pins will require modification such as resin fill in order to be displayed. F-grade pins will never be sold direct to consumer. F-grade pins will have specific special listings, and may sometimes be pre-modified for special events.
